Italian Neoclassical Mahogany Chest of Drawers, c. 1800, rectangular top with canted corners above four drawers, on tapered square feet with pinched knees, ht. 35, wd. 36 1/2, dp. 21 in. Top with finish loss and two large patches to back left corner; some waviness to drawer fronts and shrinkage to both sides; losses to bottom traversing rail and second lowest rail; age typical additional minor defects.
