George III Walnut Bracket Clock, the works late 18th century, with eight-day double tapered fusee movement, the dial signed for William Edwards, London, silvered and gilt-metal dial with strike/silent dial, and day aperture, with cast gilt-metal scrollwork spandrels, set into early 20th century arch-top walnut case with top and side lifting handles, carved wood finials, and cast metal spandrels to upper corners of front door, ht. approx. 23, wd. 12 1/4, dp. 7 in. Case in excellent condition but Modern; works restored to recent working order except the strike/silent lever is non-working.
