Monumental Assembled Three-Piece German Porcelain Vase Garniture Set, c. 1900, comprising a pair of Nymphenburg vases, balustroid, with diagonally lobed lid and foot, lid mounted with a crown flanked by two putti, the vase with two classical maiden handles, enamel decorated to front with scenes of courting couples within flower encrusted surrounds, each on base with further flowers, full ht. 29 3/4, and a single baluster-form vase, with lid formed as a pair of cherubs flanking a shield painted with an armorial, the body of the vase with crabstock handles topped by cherubs, painted to center with a scene of an amorous couple approaching Cupid in repose, and molded with a drapery swag above, and a further pair of cherubs by a crown below, on a flaring, reticulated base, encrusted throughout with flowers, on a conforming reticulated base, full ht. approx. 33 1/2 in., (losses). losses to flower petals throughout. one cherub off, but present. two cherub heads off, but present.
