Two Continental Papier-mache and Decoupage Snuff Boxes, mid-19th century, round, one mounted with French prints celebrating notables to lid and underside, the other similarly mounted with an Italian print commemorating the first victory of the Piemontesi against the Austrians at Ponte di Goito, April 8, 1848, both dia. 3 3/8 in. edge chipping and losses. some surface wear and crazing to lacquer finish. prints age darkened.
