Set of Twelve Royal Doulton Handpainted Porcelain Dinner Plates, Robert Allen Studios, c. 1914, painted to center with a Chinoiserie exotic bird, the wide rim underglaze blue transfer printed with a wrigglework ground accented with gold overprinted dot pattern, with six cartouche reserves painted with further birds, gilt rim, dia. 10 3/8 in. handpainted with marks to underside: Ra 8241 E 9754 A Good, with very minor gilt wear.
