Pair of Renaissance Revival Bronze-mounted, Parcel-gilt, and Carved Rosewood Open Armchairs , c. 1880, possibly Kimbel and Cabus, each with lappet-carved cresting mounted with a portrait roundel, tufted backrest, fluted arm supports, turned legs on casters, seat ht. 17, wd. 22, dp. 21 in. One with loose cresting and a few loose pieces that are present; no restoration to gilding; finish loss and moderate usage wear throughout; very nice quality.
