Edwardian String-inlaid Mahogany "Carlton House" Desk, early 20th century, U-shaped upper section with numerous small drawers and doors, lower section with sliding leather-top writing surface and frieze drawers on square, tapered legs ending in spade feet, ht. 29 3/4, wd. 54, dp. 27 in. Age typical minor defects; top is slightly wobbly to base; shrinkage and minor usage wear throughout.
