Fine Louis XV/Regence Style Ormolu and Patinated Metal Six-Light Torchiere, early 20th century, with central colorless glass spire above six foliate molded and scrolled candle arms each with a bacchante head terminus, over a blue painted orb molded with fleur-de-lis, the central column with paneled sides molded with lion masks, foliage and ribbons, the base with figural supports and elaborately cast with bold foliate designs, ht. 90 in. From top to bottom: Electrified and with breaks to glass "Candles" and each now drilled through bottom of drip pans and affixed with associated glass luster pnas and lacking prisms. Glass spire lacking metal piece just below. Blue orb with paint losses to upper shoulder and lower shoulder and lacking one "fleur-de-lys". Heavy wear overall to gilding with both some bronze showing through and a red tinge in spots, heaviest to base with figures. Plinth base with green pitting and slight discoloration.
