Eight Wedgwood Queen's Ware Oval Culinary Molds, England, late 18th/early 19th century, including a bird by a nest with eggs, lg. 5; ram's head, lg. 5; dog, lg. 4 7/8; horned viper coiled around a hydrant, lg. 4 1/2; pear, lg. 4 5/8; crowned bird, lg. 4 1/2; owl, lg. 4 3/4; and peacock, lg. 4 1/8 in.; impressed marks. Bird with nest: nearly round; very good condtion throughout. Ram's head: 1/4" chip to the inside edge; firing lines to the motif. Dog: light staining and glaze wear to rim and foot. Hydrant: rim with two hairlines of 1/2 and 7/8" with staining surrounding each. Pear: heavy staining. Crowned bird: large restoration to rim. Owl: slight puncture at owl's eye; nick to footrim. Peacock: couple areas of glaze roughness and slight loss along top rim and foot.
