Eight Pierced Creamware Tableware Items, England, late 18th century, including a feather-edge oval fruit basket and underdish, the basket with double-entwined handles, lg. 10; a lobe-shaped fruit basket and underdish, scrolled edges with shell motifs, lg. 9 1/2; a diamond-shaped serving dish with feather edge and shell motifs, lg. 10; a footed oval serving dish with shaped scalloped rim, lg. 10; a shallow circular berry bowl, dia. 10 3/4; and a circular strainer insert, dia. 12 3/4 in. Feather edge basket and underdish: two slight stain spots to the interior side wall of the basket. Lobed basket and underdish: two rim hairlines of 5/8"; 3/8" surface chip to piercing on one side; dish with light staining to center, several shallow surface chips/glaze wear to rim. Diamond shaped dish: one end broken off and with old staple repair; foot rim with two shallow chips, 3/8 and 1/4". Footed serving dish: very good condition throughout. Berry bowl: very good condition throughout. Strainer insert: two slight stain spots to underside.
