New England Queen Anne japanned maple high chest, ca. 1760 , the upper section with molded cornice over a 2 over 4 drawer configuration resting on a base with a central drawer with 9-lobed shell flanked by 2 short drawers, supported by cabriole legs terminating in high pad feet, retains later chinorserie landscapes and diapered and sawtooth accents on an ebonized ground, 70 3/4" h., 18 3/8" d.
