Alex de Andreis (British, 1880-1929) Portrait of a Cavalier Signed "A. de Andreis" l.r., identified on a presentation plaque. Oil on canvas, 28 3/4 x 24 in. (73.0 x 61.0 cm), framed. Condition: Craquelure, minor surface grime. Minor retouch in hat. Varnish inconsistencies in the hat and plume, as well as in the sleeve in the lower right quadrant. Canvas deformation l.r. corner. A fleck of stray modern paint l.r. quadrant.
