Bronze with a brown patina, height 9 1/4 in. (23.5 cm), on a green stone base. Condition: Felt adhered to the bottom, surface inconsistencies/surface grime. Provenance: By family descent from the artist to his nephew Louis Antoville, Queens, New York, thence to Sol [Solomon] W. Antoville and Sylvia Hepner Antoville, Manhattan, New York, thence by family descent to private collection, Massachusetts. Screw mounted to plinth, dust accretion/surface grime, no additional condition issues to report, 9 inches at extreme width, 4 inches at extreme depth.
