John White Allen Scott (American, 1815-1907) View in Conway, New Hampshire , 1868 Initialed "S" l. r., titled, dated and monogrammed "...68 J.W.A.S" in pencil on the reverse. Oil on artist board, 7 1/4 x 5 1/2 in. (18.4 x 14.0 cm), framed within an oval format (under glass). Condition: Surface grime, losses/punctures to support, abrasions, varnish inconsistencies, craquelure, alligatoring, minor retouch.
