Aiden Lassell Ripley (American, 1896-1969) The Hunt Unsigned, pencil sketch of hunting scene on the reverse, artist identified on a label from The Guild of Boston Artists affixed to the reverse. Watercolor with gouache and graphite on paper, sight size 5 7/8 x 9 3/4 in. (14.9 x 24.8 cm), framed. Condition: Extremely subtle toning, pinholes, possibly adhered or hinged to back mat along the top edge. The toning is extremely subtle. The front and back mats are adhered together along the top edge so that it is not possible to view the entire sheet. There is no estate stamp, but there is a calling card from the artist taped to the backing.
