Jacques Willem van Blarenberghe (Dutch, 1679-1742) Lot of Two Works of Campaigns of Louis XIV: An Encampment with Troops and Camp Scene Beside a Stream Unsigned, identified on labels affixed to the backing. Gouache on paper mounted to paper/board, sheet sizes to 7 x 8 15/16 in. (17.8 x 22.7 cm), framed. Condition: Possibly trimmed sheets, minor surface grime, abrasions. Provenance: Mr. Eliot Wadsworth (Assistant Secretary of the Treasury under President Harding), Boston, Massachusetts; then by descent within the family.
