Charles Wilson Knapp (American, 1823-1900) Cattle Grazing on a Riverbank Signed "C. W. Knapp" l.l. Oil on canvas, 20 x 36 in. (50.8 x 91.4 cm), framed. Condition: Craquelure with minute scattered losses, surface grime. There is a 5-inch-long thin vertical line of craquelure with minute areas of paint loss at the center top. There is a 7 -inch-long thin diagonal line of craquelure in the upper left quadrant. There are two small abrasions with minor paint loss center bottom and a third in the lower left corner.
