Hope Smith (American, b. 1879) Lot of Four Genre Scene Sketches All unsigned, artist identified on a label affixed to the reverse of each. Two oil on panel, two oil on canvasboard, approximate sizes to 5 1/2 x 7 1/8 in. (14.0 x 18.2 cm), unframed. Condition: One with pigment fluorescence, surface grime, mild wear to edges. Provenance: Estate of N. David Scotti, Providence, Rhode Island. There is pigment fluorescence in the dock scene, all with minor surface grime, one (depicting a man seated by a river) with trimmed board, no additional condition issues to report.
