(in area of gulls), varnish inconsistencies, adhered to backing foamcore (cannot open beveled mat and backing foamcore enough to determine the type of adhesive), the work may be oil on canvas mounted to paper/board (cannot open beveled mat and backing foamcore enough to determine with certainty).
