" l.r., identified on a presentation plaque and on labels from Durand-Ruel, Paris & New York, on the reverse, also with a label from Doll & Richards, Boston, affixed to the frame. Oil on canvas, 23 1/2 x 29 in. (59.7 x 73.7 cm), framed. Condition: Craquelure, surface grime, retouch. The retouch is scattered dashes, primarily to the sky, and the area where the surf meets the shore. The craquelure is stable. The work might benefit from cleaning.
