Charles Allen Winter (American, 1869-1942) Allegory of Victory over Struggle Monogram signature "CAW" l. l. Oil, graphite, and ink on canvasboard, 22 1/2 x 15 3/4 in. (57.2 x 40.0 cm), framed. Condition: Surface grime, minor abrasions, trimmed board, varnish inconsistencies. The work needs cleaning. The abrasion is subtle and is to the left of the lower head. There is a minute loss in the center of the lower edge.
