Erich Heckel (German, 1883-1970) Bildnis E. H., 1917 (Dube, 306). Signed and dated "Erich Heckel 17" in pencil l.r. Woodcut on paper, image size 14 1/4 x 11 3/4 in. (36.2 x 29.8 cm), framed. Condition: Margins 1 inch or more, horizontal crease into image (some with very subtle breaks to paper fibers), unobtrusive toning, pale staining to image. The sheet measures 16 7/8 x 13 3/4 inches, and is adhered to the facing mat with brown paper tape along much of the upper edge on the reverse.
