Samuel V. Chamberlain (American, 1895-1975) The Blacksmith Shop, edition of 100 plus proofs (Chamberlain & Kingsland, 3). Signed "Samuel Chamberlain" in pencil l.r., numbered "21/100" in pencil l.l. Etching on paper, plate size 8 7/8 x 11 1/8 in. (22.5 x 28.2 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Margins 1 1/2 inches or more with deckled edges, subtle toning, annotations to lower margin, brown paper tape to side margins. Provenance: Through the family of the artist. The work is not presently hinged to the mat.
