Needlework Sampler, "Sarah Ann Vinall Aged 10 Years 1835," England, worked in silk threads on a wool ground, depicting a pious verse over a central basket of flowers surrounded by flowers, birds, stags, angels, and cornucopias, enclosed in a geometric flowering vine, (toning, background and stitch losses), 17 1/4 x 13 1/4 in. Losses to stitches and background at center below lg. basket of flowers, c.r of sawtooth border, lower center of sawtooth border, around edges.
