Four Mochaware Items, Britain, early 19th century, two small London-shaped bowls, one with blue chevron rouletted rim band over bands of rust and blue and zigzag earthworm designs; the other bowl with green rouletted rim band above a wide rust band ornamented with black seaweed and tricolor triangular cat's-eye formations; a pepper pot ornamented with a wavy tricolor earthworm motif on a gray medial band; a half-pint yellowware mug with a medial zigzag earthworm band, (imperfections), ht. 3, 2 3/4, 5 1/4, 2 7/8; bowl dia. 5 1/2, 4 7/8 in., respectively. larger bowl- 1/4 in. rim chip spreading hairline on base; smaller bowl- about a 5 in. crack from rim extending across base; pepper pot- tow chips on everted area on lower cap in the making (glazed over) but part of one chip is later; yellowware mug- extensive repaired cracks.
