Lot of Two American School 19th-Century Landscapes: Canoe on the Lakeshore, oil on academy board, 12 3/16 x 20 1/8 in.; Spring View from the Homestead , oil on canvas, 13 1/8 x 20 inches; both unsigned, both framed. Condition: Both with surface grime, Canoe with an old break u.r. corner, Spring View with minor paint loss. Canoe has an inscription, "Mr. A. Wal.../7 School St" on a label from Geo. Rowney & Col, London, artists' materials shop, on the reverse. Spring View bears a label from Walter H. Wood's, Providence, Rhode Island, on the back of the frame.
