Small Italian Micromosaic Plaque, late 19th century, oval, depicting a view of the Castel San Angelo and the bridge over the Tiber River, wd. 3 1/4, ht. 2 1/4, mounted in rectangular black slate ground, 5 1/8 x 4, in modern giltwood frame, frame 8 1/4 x 7 in. small areas of light surface loss to bnackground coloration in sky, with darkening/soiling in these spots. slight edge roughness between micromosaic and slate (from manufacture). otherwise good.
