George II Silver Mug, London, 1753, maker's mark rubbed, balustroid, with scroll handle and flaring foot, likely later chased and embossed with flowers and rocaille C-scrolls, with central cartouche engraved with presentation inscription dated 1840, ht. 3 5/8 in., approx. 6 troy oz. maker's mark partially rubbed (W?). other marks good. repairs at join of handle to body. two small spots of repair at footrim. engraved: A Present from her Godfather Dr. Ramadge of London to France Ramadge Howe 1840" sold with a small photograph of Dr. F.H. Ramadge c. 1866.
