Dutch Silver Mustard Pot and Caster, Amsterdam, late 18th century, marked for Diemont, both urn-form, with domed lids with reeded ball finials, body with flute piercing, on trumpet foot, the mustard with hinged lid and reeded ear handle, with base metal liner, ht. 5, the caster with pierced lid, and with blue painted metal outer liner, and turned wood inner liner, ht. approx. 9 troy oz. pot: old solder repair to edge of the spoon opening; small breaks to two of the small circles within the flutes under base of handle; lining with green verdigris finish to interior. salt: crack at stem of lid finial. breaks/losses to most of the small circles within the flute piercing. loss to the blue paint of outer lining, and small spot of verdigris to interior base.
