Four Federal Coin Silver Place Spoons, a pair by Joel Sayre, New York, c. 1799, with bright-cut monogram, lg. 9 1/2; and two Philadelphia, with bright-cut engraving and monogram, one by Samuel Williamson, c. 1794, the other Abraham Dubois, c. 1777, lg. 8 3/4 and 9 in., respectively; sold with an unmarked pair of late 18th century openwork sugar tongs, possibly American, (5 items total), approx. 9 troy oz. total. age typical wear to tips of bowls. Williamson spoon with repair at stem (joining end of handle to stem).
