Two Sterling Child's Mugs, late 19th century, cylindrical, one Gorham, c. 1870, with beaded rims, angular handle, engraved with interlocking geometric panels, and with name and date 1870, ht. 3 1/8; the other Dominick & Haff, 1889, stamped with dense foliates, ear handle, small monogram at footrim, ht. 2 3/4 in., approx. 9 troy oz. total. Gorham: light ding at rim making the piece slightly off-round. pinpoints to interior base. slight metal tear beginning at one side of handle where it attaches to body. base of handle pushed into body VERY slightly. a few light dings to body. engraved: "Louisa A. Sweetland June 21st 1871." D&H: light dings to base rim, and to top of handle. visible solder at spot near rim, but likely from manufacture. monogrammed F.
