Louis XV Provincial Carved Walnut and Bronze-mounted Commode, third quarter 18th century, serpentine top and case fitted with three conforming drawers carved with shallow panels and fans, on scrolled feet, ht. 35, wd. 52 1/2, dp. 19 in. Top with very dry finish and side to side shrinkage cracks along with numerous pin repairs and uneven color; case with moderate worming and age typical defects such as denting, edge wear and shrinkage.
