Victorian Walnut Davenport, mid-19th century, top with three-quarter gallery opening to a well, gilt-tooled leather slant-lid enclosing a fitted interior; lower section with four working drawers and four sham drawers, foliate carved legs, bun feet, ht. 32, wd. 21 1/2, dp. 21 in. Minor white staining to superstructure; two nail repairs to each side of superstructure; slant lid with minor waviness and shrinkage; left side missing three false knobs; right side of case with popping traversing rails; age typical defects; good color; great laptop stand.
