Carl William Broemel (American, 1891-1984) Two Figures Aboard a Sailboat, Bermuda, c. 1925 Signed "C.W. Broemel" l.l., identified and dated "...Bermuda 192..." on a partial label on the reverse, and inscribed "Brooklyn Museum." Watercolor on paperboard, 15 x 21 3/4 in., unframed. Condition: Remnants of old paper tape around the edges, toning, water staining to the reverse, crease in l.l. corner, surface grime. Paperboard bears the stamps of Sam Flax/38 East 28th Street and is marked "Faced with Genuine Whatman..."
