Henrik Hillbom (American, 1863-1948) Wareham Williams House, Northford, Connecticut, 1750 Signed and dated "Hillbom '38" l. l., also signed and titled "Hillbom..." on the reverse. Oil on canvas, 16 x 20 in., framed. Condition: Craquelure, minor surface grime. N.B. The historic Connecticut River Valley house depicted was originally owned by the Reverend Warham Williams (1726-1786), the first pastor of Northford's Congregational Church, and a secretary of Yale College.
