Bernard Robert Chaet (American, b. 1924) Lot of Two Still Lifes: First Rose and Fruit Rose signed and dated "CHAET 76" l.l., titled, signed, dated and inscribed "CHAET 76..." on the stretcher, Fruit signed "CHAET" l.r., identified on a label from Alpha Gallery, Boston, on the reverse, signed, dated and inscribed "...Chaet/ 75..." on the stretcher. Oil on canvas, Rose 16 x 10 in., Fruit 12 x 14 in., both framed. Condition: Minor surface grime. Provenance: Estate of Eleanor Kanegis Levin, East Gloucester, Massachusetts.
