Dutch Violin, Johannes Cuypers, The Hague, c. 1790, bearing the maker's label, length of two-piece back 355 mm., with case. Certificate: Bein & Fushi, Inc., Chicago, May 6, 1988 Very good. Varnish wear and discoloration at upper treble rib, upper treble edge of back, and at neck joint of upper treble edge of top. Bow wear to treble C-bout. Varnish wear to lower back. No visible cracks. Very loud and full sound.
