Brass and Steel Wheel Cutting Engine, England, c. 1700, the freestanding hand-powered engine with rectangular brass frame on four tapering legs supports the 12 in. brass dividing plate with fourteen numbered divisions, large brass cutter frame, wood handle, engine frame 15 1/2 x 16 1/4, overall ht. 8 1/2 in.
