Brass and Steel Wheel Cutting Engine, Christian Grunsteidel, Augsburg, Germany, dated 1798, the vice-held belt driven engine, 9 3/4 in. dividing plate marked Christian Grunsteidel fecit Augsburg 1798 with forty-three division rows marked 13-365, steel indexing arm with finger loop, pivoting cutter frame, pierced decorative thumbscrew at the end of the cutter frame positioning screw, overall lg. 13 in.
