Pre-Columbian Incised Decorated Jade Plaque, Costa Rica, with Olmec influence, c. 500-700 A.D., usually worn at the waist, the speckled jade form incised on one side with the image of a lord seated on a throne, with a small dog at his feet and glyphs on the right, traces of red pigment, perforated for suspension, (repaired break), ht. 5 3/4 in.
