Silver Gilt and Enamel Box, Feodor Ruckert, Moscow, Russia, the rectangular box with hinged lid and handles with enamel scene of women against a landscape, polychrome floral and foliate motifs and wirework accents, 3 5/8 x 2 7/8 x 2 in. , lid and box with hallmarks. Central image appears to be without issues. Tiny gap where ropetwist ends. Some quite minor and unobtrusive enamel loss as follows: minor enamel loss to blue enamel border on lid, down to metal in two places, a couple of other light nicks not down to metal. Front of lid with loss to metal at raised corners on each side, though minor, and minor loss not down to metal on foliate motifs in the front and to two places in the pale green enamel above the central flower. Both sides of box with small loss down to metal in blue foliate accent, very minor nick to blue enamel on backside.
