Note: Although remembered primarily as an avant-garde filmmaker, Jean Cocteau (1889-1963) was accomplished in many fields on artistic endeavor, including poetry, fiction, illustration, drama and ballet. A figure at the center of the artistic community in Paris in the teens and 20s, he collaborated with Edith Piaf, Sergei Diaghilev, and Erik Satie. Surface scratches all over, dent to back not visible when worn.
