Large Antique 18kt Gold, Aquamarine, and Diamond Pendant Cross, Mellerio Dits Meller ,France, set with pear and oval-shape aquamarines and rose-cut diamonds, wiretwist and beaded edges, 6 1/2 x 3 7/8 in. , reverse with locket compartment, signed Mellerio Dits Meller, 9 Paix Paris, guarantee stamps. Very minor wear commensurate with age. Top element: reverse element formerly hinged to separate from cross, now soldered closed. The signature is on the finding, guarantee stamps on the jump ring attached to cross. Aquas with minor facet wear, top pear-shape with abrasion/bruise to top at bottom end of table. Rose cuts with abrasions, nicks, only noticeable under a loupe. Minor discoloration to mount under central aqua.
