Grain-painted Pine Six-board Chest, probably Pennsylvania, early 19th century, the top with molded edge opens to a dovetail-constructed box on turned feet, original surface painted to resemble mahogany, (imperfections), ht. 24, wd. 42, dp. 20 1/4 in. shrinkage crack, minor paint loss.
