Gorham Sterling Seven-piece Tea and Coffee Service, c. 1903-36, made for Shreve, Crump & Low, Boston, pear-shaped bodies with domed lids, the lid acid-etched with band of strapwork, the neck with band of diapering, with reeded rims, comprising kettle on stand with burner, coffeepot, teapot, creamer, covered sugar, waste bowl, and large tray, lg. to handles 30 1/2, teapot ht. 9 1/2 in., approx. 294 troy oz. total. undersides engraved with small presentation monograms and dated 1911-1936. burner with 1930 date mark. Overall: minor usage wear; some wear to finish of the fruitwood handles. kettle with thumbsized dent to body, wear to finish of handle, fruitwood finial lifting slightly from lid, breaks to hinge loops at one side, and loss to hinge pin at the other. teapot with a pinpoint. covered sugar with a a dent to should approx. 1". creamer with two small dings.
