Pair of Carved Wood Putti, Italian School, late 17th century, each facing forward in a reclined position, one draped with furs with one arm raised, the other draped with netting and holding a fish, with two later wood stands, ht. without stand to approx. 18, lg. to approx. 16 in. Possibly early 18th century. Both with missing fingers, one stand in pieces. One hand formed as if to be holding something but there is no sign of wear.
