Pair of Blackamoor Wall Shelves, Italy, 19th century, each with a painted and gilded carved wood crouched figure flanked by drapery, all supporting a shaped shelf, lg. 12 1/4, shelf wd. 12 7/8 in. Each overall very good. Both top surfaces of shelves repainted; no other signs of repaint; some flaking to the sides of the neck of one figure; tip of one shoe broken off and simply reattached.
