George III Silver Four-bottle Cruet Set, London, 1818, Joseph Angell, maker, the square stand with acanthus, shell and gadrooned rim, on paw feet, with central upright handle, with reeded frame enclosing pair of colorless cut glass cruets, and pair of silver rimmed and lidded glass pots, stand ht. 10 in., approx. 27 troy oz. weighable silver. marks good throughout. stand good. pot lids with very small metal tears at spoon notches. the glass with overall fleabite chips to the cut diamonds. each pot with a foot rim chip. one cruet with a few edge chips at stopper; the other stopper with larger rim chips, and loss to end.
