Three Silver Boxes, mid-19th century, rectangular, a Dutch . 833 silver tobacco box, 1850, lid engraved with two male figures flaking a central roundel engraved "Tabak," lg. 5 1/4; a Victorian card case, Edinburgh, 1855, maker's mark GC, engraved to both sides with vignettes of buildings in that city, lg. 3 7/8; and an unmarked card case engraved with a house verso, monogram recto, lg. 3 3/4 in., approx. 8 troy oz. total. Dutch: lid applied to center with a small oval roundel engraved "Tabak." Denting to base, some edge wear, and light overall age wear. Edinburgh case: light dings to three corners. minor usage wear. not monogrammed. Dutch case: pinpoint dents to the monogrammed side. dent to side edge just below hinge (approx. 1/2" in size). dings to corners.
