Two George III Silver Teapot Stands, London, oval, with reeded rims and bright cut engraving, one 1798, John Emes, maker, lg. 6 5/8, the other 1810, Henry Chawner, maker, lg. 6 1/2; sold together with a sauce boat, British provincial or American coin, marked "CT Sterling", beaded rim, leaf-topped scroll handles, and shell-topped pad feet, ht. 4 in., 20 troy oz. total. 1798 example: wreath at center possibly engraved later. 1810 example: one foot pushed in slightly. sauce boat: a few light pinpoints, age wear to engraved crest and to marks.
